Who We Are

Hello there. I'm Silvana Budge, a proud Munduruku Indigenous descendant, born and raised in the vibrant culture of Santarém, Pará, Brazil. Growing up surrounded by the diversity and natural beauty of the Amazon shaped my identity in profound ways.

In 2010, I embarked on a transformative journey that led me thousands of miles away to Louisville, Kentucky, United States. Though physically distant from the Amazon, its spirit remained ingrained within me. I felt a deep calling to share the richness of Amazonian culture with my new community and beyond.

Fueled by this passion, Amazonian Treasures was born. The main focus is to bring unique pieces made by the talents of Amazonian artisans and support the indigenous and river communities that depend on their craft. We will also be bringing collections that highlight other areas of Brazil with their unique bio and eco jewelry. Through Amazonian Treasures, I endeavor to bridge continents, connecting people with the stories, traditions, and artistry of the Amazon.

Each meticulously crafted piece by our artisans' skilled hands carries a story—a tale of resilience, creativity, and an unbreakable connection to the land. By sharing these narratives, I aim to celebrate the beauty of Amazonian culture and uplift the communities whose livelihoods depend on it.
