Who We Are

Amazonian Treasures curates' jewelry crafted from natural materials, each piece selected for its origin, meaning, and story.

Hello, I’m Silvana Budge, born and raised in Santarém, Pará, Brazil, in the heart of the Amazon. My roots are connected to the region and its cultures, which have deeply shaped my respect for the forest and the communities who live in harmony with it.

I grew up surrounded by rivers, trees, and stories passed down through generations, a place where nature and culture are woven together every day.

In 2010, life carried me far from home to Louisville, Kentucky. Even as I built a new life here, the Amazon never left me. Its colors, textures, and voices stayed with me, and I felt a deep calling to share that heritage with others.

That calling became Amazonian Treasures. We do not manufacture these pieces; we carefully select and source them from artisans across Brazil.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to support Indigenous, riverside, association-based, independent artisans and Quilombola artisan communities from the Amazon and Cerrado biomes, communities where craft is not a trend, but a way of life.

For the communities we work with, every seed, fiber, and natural element holds meaning. They come from the land that sustains them, and each piece carries that connection.

By choosing our jewelry, you help keep these traditions alive while supporting a more respectful and sustainable future.

Nature-crafted jewelry is at the heart of what we do, pieces made from seeds, grasses, fibers, and natural elements shaped by skilled hands.

Each piece is selected with the same purpose: to reflect the diversity, creativity, and cultural depth of Brazil.

What It Means to Wear it

This is more than jewelry. It carries the feeling of warm air, river water, and the earth beneath your feet. All are chosen with intention, to reflect the spirit, creativity, and diversity of Brazil.

When you wear it, you carry a connection, to place, to people, and to something deeper than style.

Warm regards,

Silvana Budge
